Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

Isn’t she gorgeous? The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge is a bridge in Dallas, Texas which spans the Trinity River and was built as part of the Trinity River Project. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it is one of three such bridges planned to be built over the Trinity. The span parallels the Continental Avenue Bridge, a walking bridge. The bridge is named for Margaret Hunt Hill, an heiress and philanthropist. Design: Cable-stayed bridge. Height: 400 feet (120 m) central arch pylon. Longest span: 1,197 feet (365 m) (total length 1,870 feet (570 m))

Photo was taken during our trip to Dallas a year ago.
